Satisfaction!

Hohoho.. I can't remember when was the last time I have such satisfaction in bowling so please let me brag it here.

I think I'm improving although slow but towards the right path. Today, I hit an average of 179 (173 + 170 + 160 + 216). However, I'm tired .. probably I had a rough week, that's why I'm feeling slightly more tired than previous weeks.

Recently, I realised I've been eating more than I usually did. Thanks to my friends' and my dear's observation *hehehe*. I hope it's just temporary and I have to really take care of my diet.

First Outing after New Haircut

Finally I get to load pics of my new haircut. Warning!! *NO LAUGHING ALLOWED*
This was before I had my hair cut:

I was in Dave's car on my way to the saloon
Just finish work, a bit tired. It's a good thing I felt tired else I may have changed my mind in cutting my hair
Lol

So, after my haircut, I went straight to Dave's relative house for her house warming party.

I heard that this piece of art cost a lot

This was taken at the 3rd floor. I love the mirror!!

I love the lights, it's positioned at the stairway.

I've always liked Ikea, Ikano and the Curve's Christmas decoration. So, I went there earlier just now to see what's the deco like this year. IMO, it was better than before. Our first stop was Ikano and here are the pics.:

Dave at the fireplace

Me and Dave - White Christmas at Ikano

Hello Snowman!!

At the Street of Curve

Also along the street
A very colourful Christmas deco here

Dave and I together with Marche ^^ as the background

The inner view of Curve
I like their decoration this year, let me tell you why...

1) A very tall X'mas tree

2) Teddy~ and of also other cute animals of course
T.T only get to take this cutie coz others were crowded with people

3) Reindeers

4) Elf and flowers!

More elves
Not just 1 but there's another above - left side of the Christmas tree

5) and a VERY VERY HUGE horsie?

6) Not forgetting the crowds, we have to fight to take pictures

Love the lighting and the colour

Overall, I have most positive feedback regarding my new haircut. Anyway, good or no good, I can't change it. At least I feel so light now!!! I guess I'm a pound lighter ^^ JK.

Now I have to wait for another 2 days so that I can wash my hair. The stuff they use on my hair really STINKS!!! I hope no one comes near me these 2 days. LOL

P/S: Can't wait till Christmas!! Ho~ Ho~ Ho~

Edited: Had 4 games of bowling this afternoon, scored an average of 160 (163 + 172 + 170 + 138). The last game was a LOUSY stupid game.. 3 consecutive splits and another 1 at the end.

Taking a break

Currently, my job doesn't need me to work on Sundays and I sure hope I won't have to in the future *fingers crossed*. Since today is a rest day for me, I went bowling at Selayang Mall. Previously, I don't quite like Selayang Mall however when I know they have a bowling alley there, I love that place instantly *grins*. How many place have both badminton courts and a bowling alley? As usual, Dave plays badminton there on Sundays so I followed him.

The bowling alley wasn't bad. It uses LCD screens for score display and cold enough unlike some other bowling alleys in KL *sweats*. The only thing I would complain is the price of the game; Rm5.50 per game. Today, I played 4 games and I had an average of 176.75 (160, 154, 170 and 223). It's satisfaction that I obtained after the games.

After our games, Dave and I had the cheapest lunch which was a RM0.99 hot dog each. It was surprisingly delicious and fresh. The bun was soft, the vege was fresh and together with generous toppings of mayo and chili sauce. Besides that, I bought myself a cute little pen.. no pictures for now as my cable is not with me now, later perhaps.

Something to share..

Again, yesterday I went Sunway Pyramid with Mel. This time is for bowling *lol* since we're entitle the 2 free games. Anyway, as usual, we went shopping around and I heard a song I like instantly. I want to share it with you all here so you can listen to it while reading through this entry *wink*.

Enjoy!!

Pussycat Dolls - I'm Done

After bowling, Mel & I had our late lunch at Kim Gary. It has been a while since I last had a proper meal there. This was what we had:

My Shanghai honey roasted ribs rice along with hot tea and borsch soup
Mel commented on the ribs being aromatic but I would say if the gravy is something tasted more like honey which could be a better compliment to the ribs.

Mel's Deep fried chicken and mushroom rice together with cold tea and cream soup

The meal cost about RM 13++ per person. Overall, the meal was alright. The outing was fun and bowling SUCKS *lol* (just because I played badly) =P

I'm now slightly relieved because 1 of my long set mission is now accomplished, my resume/profile =).

Psst!! I actually bought another top. Will update the picture here later. *Evil laughter*

I know.. I know..

It's been a while since I last posted (again!). Well, I was tired, lazy and no inspiration to start a new topic. However, (at last) something other than ordinary happened today, nothing unusual as well. I actually went bowling and shopping with Mel today.

So I'll start of with bowling since that's what we did first. My average today was 165.67 (192, 123 & 182). Mel did well, considering she's new in bowling, she still managed an average of close to 100. Bravo Mel~~!! After we finished our 3 games only did I noticed Pyramid Megalanes are currently having their October promotion. The promotion is meant for College Girls. Just by showing your college/university student i.d., you are entitle 2 free games. Just as simple as that but remember, GIRLS only!. Damn the cashier who never inform us. We paid 3 games which we should only pay for 1 (since we're also entitled for the 2 free games). Enough of complaining. Now that I'm so eager to show you what I've bought today!!

By the way, we had late lunch in Pizza Hut after the damage to our purses. We ordered one of the cheaper sets available, Sensasi Delight set, below Rm10 per set.

Mel on the phone while dipping Breadstix into her soup-of-the-day a.k.a. mushroom cream soup

Posting while on the phone with her food

This was what I ordered (picture taken from Pizza Hut's site)

But my rice came looking so different from the illustration
Looks like it's sabotaged by the chef/waiter *jk LOL*
By the way, the rice was too dry to my liking.. taste as if it's not properly cooked

I even had Mel to swear and witness that the rice was not touched by me when it was served
She claimed to be sincere.. but this photo showed otherwise *hmm..*

Mel's Waikiki Paradise

We were so adventurous that we tried creating new soup flavours from the ones we were having.

We had our soup mixed with Tabasco sauce
Balancing the taste as I put too much Tabasco into 1 bowl

And also cheese flakes. Stirring is needed *lol* that's why the picture came out to be blurry due to motions
The result: I think it tasted like Sabah's chili (paste) and Mel said Mich told her that adding chili sauce into the soup could produce sze chuan soup

Our precious, I feel so happy with what I've purchased today!!!

Mel's newest collection
This picture was taken in her car as we were not daring enough to take it in public restaurants *lol*
So, before leaving Pyramid, we were both taking snapshots in Mel's car like 2 crazy females

Behold my newest collection *lol*
Mel insisted that I took this shot there and then so that my accessories' picture won't look better than hers (to avoid biasness) even it caused her to get caught in the jam on her way back home.

The total damage I got from this outing was around Rm100 (bowling + food + accessories + parking fee) but I'm happy with the stuff I bought *wink*

Shopping spree~

Sad to say, it's not me but my brother. =) He bought a few tops and a bottom which sums up to RM420. He got himself a pair of awesome jeans which I like it. However, since the stuff are not mine, I didn't take any photos of it. I'll have my turn of shopping spree later *evil grin*.

Well, we did not spend the whole time shopping in Pyramid today. My brother and I went out to do some errands then later went bowling. We were both lucky enough to try out their newly sanded lanes which I find it quite nice actually. However, my score wasn't that great, I hit an average of 162 (120 *shakes head*, 185, 148 and 195).

Nothing much happened today though. Oh ya, before I forget I would like to wish all the Muslim friends "Selamat Hari Raya"!

I heard this song on the radio few days ago and I like it. I just have to post it so here's the video to share with you all!

Tiring Monday!

It's a tiring day as I went for bowling. However, I didn't quite enjoy it as I wasn't playing as usual. My bro and I are still figuring what went wrong. Both of us didn't get that usual feel. Anyway, despite all that, I manage an average of 176.4 (165 + 154 + 175 + 212) which indicates that I've improve a lil' ever since I got my new ball. :) I hope I can play better. Dad, I have another 200 to be added into the list for this year!

Before bowling, I hung out with the girls, Mich & Mel. Unfortunately, Pui Yen wasn't able to join us else we'll be hanging out like the usual us ever since our foundation years. I bought nothing but I am still considering on whether to purchase the necklace that I was attracted to. It is an onyx stone. Ever since I purchased a necklace gemstone (unfortunately I've forgotten the type of semi-precious stones on the necklace), I can't seem to stop being attracted to their beauty. I was never a gemstone lover and I'm yet to learn more about them.

We had lunch at IKEA and I didn't like the chicken chop so much today. Probably it was the texture of the chicken which was a bit hard or maybe I wasn't hungry then. As usual, I bought curry puffs. We didn't go around much as the time was limited. We were supposed to meet at 11.30 am but Mel had some errands to deal with and thus the meeting was delayed to 1.30 pm.

As I'm posting, I'm feeling sleepy. I think I better have a nap else I won't be sleeping tonight which I don't wish that to happen. Ciao for now!

I was searching for some bowling informations on my sis's upcoming bowling competition and here I came across some of the bowling history, hehe..one of my happy moments. However, those were the good old days. The full results can be obtained here.

Sadly, my name was not correctly spelled. Instead of Vivian, they changed my name to Vivien. It's a long story but the participation in this competition was a last minute decision. I was asked to join by the state team manager right after playing for MSSM (which I managed a bronze). Maybe that was why my name was not correctly spelled.*Shakes head* I started bowling quite late and most competitions have age limits which refrained me from participating. I did enjoy bowling anyways. Probably I'll talk about how I started bowling and how I began participating bowling competitions some other day. :)

Here are some of the old pictures I found too.

Sad and Down Monday

Probably I don't quite like Monday. Probably it's due to meeting someone I don't want to. Anyway, I'm better now. Just pushing those bad thoughts out of my fragile mind. Currently listening to my OLD but Favourite songs of mind from my playlist =P.

Today, class ended earlier. So, I was thinking of bowling which my bro. accompanied me for 4 games. WTH, I played badly till nobody can recognize..haha nolar, just exaggerating. My score was 168, 171, 150 and then a lousy 142. I'm satisfied in converting a split and some 'slippers'. Continued later was golf, where Dave brought me to extreme park driving range. Hopefully no backache tomorrow.

My dad will be coming down this Saturday (19th Apr), surely I'm happy about it. Miss my family especially since my dad and youngest sis are in KK and my eldest sis in Saudi. Now in my home, left me and my bro. as well as Kaka (min. poodle) and hammies which are Winter, Snowy and Junior. Used to have Chu Chu, unfortunately she passed away last Friday without any known cause. Sad sad. Now that my dad is coming down, I need to finish my assignments earlier so that I can accompany him more. =)

I'm still thinking of how to upgrade my messy room. I've always wanted different sections to be built in my room. Small part for my attire, a part for my accessories, small part for my books, another for my stickers and etc. I guess, first I have to get rid of my books, past years notes and others unwanted stuffs. Thinking about it really can give me a headache.

Tomorrow I'll have 3 hour lab session again. Hopefully it'll end early like today. Oh ya, talking about uni, I got back my reports for plant biotechnology and ecology. I was happy with the results. Initially I was so afraid of being caught with collision or plagiarism. Not that I did but, just in case. Who knows similarity does occur. Haha.. at least there is something to be happy about. Next Monday..again I may be sad. I just don't like it. Luckily it's only a few weeks more, then I may not meet the person I don't quite want to see. Probably then I'll feel more at ease.

The feeling of betrayal is so strong. It's sad and painful.. probably those had been through this will know what I'm saying and know how I feel. I'm the type of person that would prefer to keep everything to myself. There are definately the pros and cons about it. Probably that's why I think so much that I don't even realise I'm bothered by it. I get angry easily recently too. Is that one of the stress symptoms? I hope not.

Hoho..suddenly crave of Melaka Lup Lup Kai Fan. I hope I can go Melaka soon. I'm imagining that, in future, if Sonia gets to go Penang (she'll know what I mean), I want to eat and eat and eat. I want to try out new food there since I've been hearing from others that the food there is marvelous. I'm drooling already, OMG. Sonia.. Fast Fast lar!! Teddy~~ (like the way of MR. Bean calling for his doll bear).

I'll be back! pretty soon...
