Pangs of guilt

After all these months, yesterday was the first time ever I spent time with the girls, Mel & PY. We had fun of course. We rarely go out on occassions like these, so carefree and no assignments to rush. Pavilion was the place of choice because three of us have not ever set our feet there together till yesterday *smiles*. Now Pavilion will be addressed as Pavvy by us.

Darn, I look so fake, I guess I wasn't ready for the shot when we finally got someone to take the photo for us after searching high and low for one. I seriously need to do something to my hair but I'm still growing it while waiting for the barber to allow me to burn/fry it again *grins*

Mel brought us souvenirs from Beijing from her recent visit there. It's the mascot key chains and it's so cute, thanks Mel!.

Please focus the yellow orangy Olympic mascot at my bag.

Instead of watching movie, we went shopping in which each of us return with at least a top and some accessories. I got myself a top and that explains the guilt I'm feeling.

Besides spending, the guilt pang involves more. Part of it is because I haven't got myself a job yet but I've been spending money alot for this month and there are some family matters which I almost give up when I shouldn't. *sigh* There are also issues involving my attitude as well as the delaying of clearing my room *eyes rolling* Enough of digressing and procrastinating. It's high time I really put words into action. *motivated....for don't know how long.. ngek ngek ngek*

In a mood for pictures

Last night I went to IKEA, The Curve and Ikano for a simple dinner and had a stroll around of course. (Sonia, I wish you were here since you love coming to IKEA and we could have taken tonnes of pictures). I was in a mood for pictures and took a number of them. Here are the pictures:

Miniatures, not sure of which dynasty (China)

Miniatures being displayed at Ikano's center hall
in the occasion of the mid-autumn mooncake festival

I found something interesting and unique there.
Those are candies blown by the candy maker.
What an art and skill of course!

I like the lighting behind me

Seems like Dave is wearing a fan-like headpiece

I took this picture myself and coincidentally
it seemed like I'm wearing a flower headpiece too

I like this pillow and see how it shines on my face *laughs*

The day came and went

My convocation has come and go in a blink of an eye. There are some mishaps or rather sad findings I've discovered from the preparation of this event. One which was I realised I've lost a set of formal attire and the worst is I don't even know when I've lost it. Sad right? How can a set of attire be lost? It's not any small panty which is possible to be misplaced or dropped somewhere into the drainage hole at my laundry area (maybe)? No way right? Nevermind that. My room isn't big enough to have a set of attire to get lost? My attire surely do not own a pair of arms/legs. *Sigh* Not only that, I only knew it was gone during the very last minute. I know I know, I shouldn't have waited till the very last minute to prepare my graduation attire, but I guess that's me after all. *grins* So I went to my graduation with a buttoned-top and a long pant. Well, no need for the imagination, I'll show you some pictures of my convocation further below.

The good thing about my convocation was, I finally owned a pair of heels I like. I spotted it a week earlier before my convo. I was lucky enough to be in Midvalley a day before my convo to purchase it. Thanks to my dear, Dave! *muacks* Thank you so much dear. The heels are fine and tall. It's leather in the inside and the outer layer seems like a velvety-kind-of-material.

Heels I heart *grins mischeviously, hehehe*

Nothing seems right (Part II)

*SIGH* My convocation will be tomorrow but I'm caught with cough, sore throat and flu. I sure hope I won't be teary and cough non-stop tomorrow. *fingers crossed* No fever, no fever, no fever please!!!

Again, I've changed my blog's layout. The previous layout was actually alright until I wanted to post, I realized there was no nav. bar where I used to click "New Post". Luckily I still have the old page on in another window, I quickly change my layout to the one with a nav. bar above. *grins*

Nothing seems right

My blog went wrong as mentioned in my previous post. I have to resort to this template instead. Although it's not really what I like, I'll continue using this template till I get the one I like (maybe). Prior to this template, I've saved various templates but they ended up just not right. Either the theme doesn't suit or the size is too small, else the colour is too pale for people to read. Thus, this current one is one of the more suitable ones. *sigh* Too bad, I don't know how to design my own blog layout *sniff sniff*

Firstly, the side bar is positioned on the right and I prefer it on the left. Then, my profile picture, Feedjit and time indicator weren't placed in the center. Besides that, white background seems like hurting my eyes a lil' even though I've adjusted my monitor's brightness and contrast. Enough of digressing. I'll have to get one before my motivation dies down. *fingers crossed*

Something's wrong with my blog

I'm not sure what's wrong with my blog. All I can see at the background of Photobucket that says 'Upgrade to Pro today, bandwidth exceeded'.

It's this figure that appears at my blog's background not in one but in multiple. The worst part is that I couldn't even see my posts. I'm not sure what causes this problem and I'm a total noob in such matter. I won't be changing anything for the time being as my blog looks fine at Dave's area. I'll see how it goes later. Probably it's time for me to change my blog's layout too.

In the mean time, I'll try see if this problem still persist using my sis's comp.

Something I want to recommend and introduce to all of you. I visited my friend's blog, Fred and I got this awesome cute site which I think it's really quite addictive I must say. So never say I never warn you! Try at your own risk! Hop on in!

I'm sad

I'm sad and down. It seems like nobody wants to attend my coming convo :(
I'm almost in tears just by having that thought.
Never mind that, it's just another day. Not of any importance and thus it's not compulsory for people I know to attend.
Sonia, if you are reading this, I wish you all the best and do take care when you're back to our beloved hometown. I'll miss you. Although you won't be there for my convo, I bet you wish you could actually, right? So, I'll save you some photos if I manage to get it for myself :P.

P/S: I always thought convocation is an exciting and happy event. I guess I was wrong.

I'll be back! pretty soon...
